An 89 Oldsmobile with a 3.1 L engine (Chev MFI) is towed into your stall with the complaint:

Cranks, but won’t start.

Fuel Pressure is good, Key-Up scan data looks good, no DTCs are stored, and while cranking

the engine over, you see cranking RPM on the scan tool. You also noticed while cranking the

engine over that it kinda sorta wants to start… Almost as if fuel pressure was too low.

 

You’ve read all the archives on iATN for GM ignition systems and you decide to take a  look

At the EST circuits while cranking the engine…
